LEAD CHEMICALS focuses on tackifiers and adhesives, while also supporting other conventional markets and new opportunities in the coatings, and plastics modification areas. The many technologies for us lead to molecular structures in our products that promote rheology control, crosslinking, adhesion, sealing, reactive intermediates, polymer synthesis, and dispersion.


The Realtack® and Supertack® series cover a wide spectrum of aliphatic and aromatic grades. The Realtack grades are high-quality, low color C5 and and their modified hydrocarbon resin. The Supertack A series are C9 aromatic Petroleum resin.

 

C5 aliphatic, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin and their modified products from LEAD CHEMICAL have utility in many markets. In adhesives, hydrocarbon resins are used in hot melts adhesive, pressure sensitive tapes and labels, construction mastics, and many specialty applications. Hydrocarbon resins are also excellent tackifiers and compatibilization aids in the rubber market. In addition, hydrocarbon resins have found utility in paints & coatings, investment wax casting compounds, thermoplastic/thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) modification, hydrophobic sealants, thermoplastic road marking paints and so on.…

Styrene Modified C5 Hydrocarbon Resin

 

S series are styrene modified C5 resin with a narrow molecular weight distribution, has outstanding rolling ball tack, and excellent balance of peel and cohesive strength.

They primarily designed for tackification of SIS and SBS based PSA since styrene modifying brings their excellent SBC compatibility. They also can used as tackifier for Natural rubber, Metallocene polyolefin, Butyl rubber, EVA, APO and APAO based HMA.

C5/C9 Copolymer Hydrocarbon Resin

 

C5/C9 Copolymer hydrocarbon resins are the aliphatic copolymerization and aromatic hydrocarbon resin made from the continuous polymerization of C5/C9 fraction derived from the stream cracking process of petrochemical raw materials.

G100,G110 & G120 have outstanding compatibility with EVA and SBS, suitable for EVA based woodworking adhesive and bookbinding adhesive, also can used in rubber compounding.
